eSense Learning Private Limited : An Introduction
eSense is a company representing the e-learning business activity of Navneet Group. eSense was incorporated in April 2008 in the name of Navneet e-learning Private Limited. Later, out of statutory reasons, the company name was changed to eSense Learning Private Limited.
Navneet initiated its business in education sector in 1959. eSense, though incorporated recently, being a Navneet group company, brings experience of over 5 decades in education sector.
The recent history of the country has witnessed technology revolution and its impact on day to day life. Technology has been part of every human life in some or other manner. Observing this change in general, eSense analysed that technology is not yet integrated in education sector. Education has still been in traditional “chalk and talk” pattern. Further we observed that students are exposed to technology out of the classroom and are unable to adjust with the traditional pattern within the classroom and hence are increasingly becoming less attentive in the classroom.
Realizing this fact, eSense conducted further research and formed a opinion that if technology is integrated with education, it will create curiosity among students to learn and will increase their concentration within the classroom. Hence eSense decided to integrate technology with education and make education more interesting for teaching and learning community.
At present eSense is working on a mission to make technology as a part of teaching and learning patterns. Till date technology is treated as a subject in schools. However, eSense is aiming at integrating technology with education in a manner where technology becomes a medium to teach and learn and does not remain a subject. As the initial effort, eSense is developing ClassRoom Teaching Modules (CRTM), a teacher oriented teaching tool. CRTM is an audio-visual module with excellent visual, 2D / 3D animation and lucid voice-over in simple language. ESense is developing this module in English and regional language for all subjects of standards 1 to 10. ESense also has developed a student oriented product called TOP SCORER. TOP SCORER has summary animations, evaluation and question/answer modules in built and is exam oriented product.
eSense has built an ultra modern animation studio in Ahmedabad and is employing over 110 people including authors, proof readers and animators. eSense is constantly working on innovative ideas and products for K-12 education within the classroom and outside so as to overcome the limitations of “Chalk and Talk method and make teaching and learning simpler, faster and better.
JOB DESCRIPTION – Sales Executive
Reporting To Marketing Head
Responsible for The Sales Executive will work with the Marketing Director to develop new business, prepare proposals and quotations for the Digital Classrooms and other e-products of the company.
Key Tasks The scope and focus of activities in the sales team will be clarified through six-monthly goal setting meetings with the Marketing Director.
·1 Respond efficiently to business enquiries and respond with appropriate information about the products and services.
·2 Contact potential client to understand and quantify their requirements and budgets, and try to up sell the product
·3 Prepare proposals and quotations for product & services for potential clients.
·4 Maintain up-to-date information on all customer interactions in the database.
·5 Develop a good knowledge of the demand, competition and prices of the product.
·6 Develop an up-to-date knowledge of the characteristics, strengths and weaknesses of products.
In addition the Sales Executive will be expected to:
·1 Support the Marketing Director in negotiating contracts
·2 Conducting various events for understanding the concept of the product.
Knowledge & Skills required:
·3 MBA Graduate or Diploma in Management from Reputed College or Institute
·4 Experience in product sales and marketing will be an added advantage.
·5 Well versed with basic computer skills.
·6 Good communication, customer service and writing skills.
·7 Able to communicate complex technical issues, with good presentation
·8 Excellent organization, communication and problem solving skills.
·9 Self-motivated and adaptable to be able to work with minimal supervision.
·10 Good interpersonal skills.
