In order to meet the manpower requirements and to strengthen the present team of around 3000 engineering professionals, they aim to recruit fresh graduate engineers from various disciplines like Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, C&I, Metallurgy, Geology and Mining with good academic record having secured a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in the semesters concluded so far. The students who are in their final semester and will pass out in the year 2011 from various engineering colleges are eligible to appear in AIMGET.

The AIMGET is scheduled on 9th Jan, 2011 with an online application facility through web.The online application will start on 1st December and will remain open till 22nd Dec. A copy of
Advertisement, MIEL GET 2011 Scheme and How to Apply document has been attached for your reference. The colleges are requested to inform the students about the same.

The campuses has receive posters by courier and has been posted on department Notice boards. MIEL GET – 2011 SCHEME
 

Minimum Qualification – B.E / B. Tech/ B.Sc Tech students with atleast 60% marks in aggregate through his/her academic career (i.e. 10th, 12th,Diploma and Engineering degress). A regular two-year M.E/ M.Tech/ M.Sc. Tech Degree or five-year integrated master’s course (for IITs) with atleast 60% marks in aggregate throughout the academic career 9i.e 10th, 12th, Diploma and Engineering degree). The age limit for B.Tech is 25 years and for M.Tech is 28 years, as on Jan 1, 2011.

Targeted Engineering Disciplines – Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, C & I, Metallurgy, Geology and Mining

Total No. of positions – 300

Date of commencement of training – 1st July, 2011

Duration of training – 12 Calendar months

Place of training in India –Delhi, Raipur and Raigarh (Chattisgarh), Ranchi (Jharkahnd) and Angul (Orissa)

Assessment & method of selection – Written test, GD & Interview.

Written Test of 1 hour and 55 minutes duration with venue across different cities is divided into two parts:
- Domain Test : 1 Hour with 60% weight
- Aptitude Test : Numerical, Analytical & Verbal Ability of 55 minutes duration with 40% weight

Complete evaluation of the response sheet will be done and a merit list will be prepared on the basis of the total number of vacancies for a particular branch of engineering. In no case, candidate securing less than 50% in weighted score will be considered for further process.
The candidates will then be shortlisted for GD & Interview.
A GD & Interview Board will be formed consisting of Technical & HR Experts from Units/ Corporate/ Branch Offices. The qualifying candidates will be issued offer letters through Courier/ Speed Post & emails mentioning the Date of Joining, Place of Posting and other terms & conditions of the appointment.

HOW TO APPLY:

  • Eligible and interested candidates would be required to apply online only through Monnet Group website: http://www.monnetgroup.com/ No other means/mode of application shall be accepted.
  • Please go through the detailed Advertisement to ensure you completely fulfill the eligibility criteria for the post you want to apply. Once done, before processing with the procedure of filling the Online Application Form, take a printout of SBI Payment Challan form (Pay in Slip)** and visit your nearest SBI Branch to make the examination fee payment.
    **SBI payment Challan Form (Pay in Slip) is available on the Application Registration
    Portal home page. The applicant will get 3 copies of the payment form; one for self, one for SBI & one for Monnet. The Monnet Copy needs to be submitted by the candidates on the test day failing which candidates will not be allowed to appear for the written test.
  • Before registering their application on the website the candidates should possess the
    following:
  • Stamped Copy of the SBI Challan Form/Pay in Slip of Rs 475/- paid as examination fee
    with Journal Number and Branch Code. ( Rs 50/- additional to be paid to SBI as Bank
    Charges)
  • Valid e-mail ID.
  • Digital Passport Size Photograph in pen drive or in the computer from which filling the
    Online Application Form.
  • NOTE: Journal Number and Branch Code will be provided by SBI Fee Collecting Branch
IMPORTANT:
  • State Bank of India has been authorized to collect the registration fee
    (examination/processing fee), in a specially opened account (No. 31512824405) at Industrial Finance Branch, Jawahar Vyapar Bhawan, New Delhi, on behalf of Monnet Ispat & Energy Limited. A candidate has to approach the nearby SBI Branch with a printout of the pay-in-slip, which is available on the Application Registration Portal. The pay-in-slip printed from the Portal only should be used for depositing the fee for proper crediting of amount in the allocated account. On receipt of the money the concerned branch of SBI will issue a unique Journal Number and a Branch Code of the branch collecting the money. This JournalNumber and a Branch code are to be filled up by the candidate during online registration. In case the candidate deposit the fee in a wrong account, Monnet will not be
    responsible. There will not be any other mode of collection of registration fee. Also please note that an amount of Rs. 50/- will be paid by the candidate as Bank Charges to the collection branch of SBI in addition to the applicable registration fee. The SBI branches will accept the registration fee from December 01, 2010 till December 22, 2010.
  • All information regarding examination schedule/admit card/interview call letters etc. shall
    be provided through email. Responsibility of receiving, downloading and printing of admits
    card invalid/wrong email ID provided by the candidate.
  • After applying online, candidate is required to print the system generated Registration Slip
    with unique registration number and other essential details
  • The eligible candidates who are issued Admit Cards for the Written Test are to bring along
    with them:
  • Original Signed Copy of the Registration Slip
  • Admit Card downloaded from the Monnet website
  • Monnet Copy of SBI Challan
GENERAL INSTRUCTION:
  • The courses offered by Autonomous Institution should be equivalent to the relevant courses
    approved / recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) UGC/AICTE.
  • Whenever CGPA/OGPA or letter grade in a degree is awarded; equivalent percentage of marks
    should be indicated in the application (online) as per norms adopted by university/Institute.
  • No request for change of examination centre shall be entertained. However Monnet reserves
    the right to cancel or add any centre depending on the response in that area/centre.
  • Candidates appearing in the final year of qualifying examination may also apply.
  • Candidates should retain a photocopy of their Pay in Slip and Registration slip for future
    reference.
  • Court of jurisdiction for any dispute will be at Delhi.
NOTE:
  • Monnet may increase or decrease the number of posts to be filled based on requirement.
  • Appointment of selected candidates will be subject to their passing the Company’s Medical
    Examination as per standards laid down under Monnet Policy.
