Responsible for The Sales Executive will work with the Marketing Director to develop new business, prepare proposals and quotations for the Digital Classrooms and other e-products of the company.   

Key Tasks The scope and focus of activities in the sales team will be clarified through six-monthly goal setting meetings with the Marketing Director.

·1 Respond efficiently to business enquiries and respond with appropriate information about the products and services.
·2 Contact potential client to understand and quantify their requirements and budgets, and try to up sell the product
·3 Prepare proposals and quotations for product & services for potential clients.

Dear Sir,

I wish to register myself for the Campus Placements 2011. I have read all the Placement Rules of Campus Placement and promise to abide by them. I agree that I will provide correct information to the Placement Cell.

I am aware that it is my responsibility to check the Placement Notice Board, Email and GIT placement blog for all information about campus Placement and I will not hold the institute or the Placement Officer accountable for the same, if any of such information is missed.

I agree to appear for all campus interviews for which I get shortlisted. I am also aware that if I do not appear for any Campus Placement for which I am eligible, I will be taken off the Placement Process.

I am also fully aware that if I am found violating any of the Placement rules and regulations or found indulging in any act of indiscipline or misbehavior thereby earning a bad name for the Institute, I will be debarred from availing any further placement facilities and is liable for strict disciplinary action, as per the Institute rules and regulations.

I will abide by all decisions taken by the Training and Placement Officer.

CAMPUS PLACEMENT RULES
 
1. In order to be eligible for the campus interviews, the eligible students have to register with Placement Cell by signing an “Expression of Interest for placements” form after reading the Placement rules.

2. Only those who register and give the “Expression of Interest for placements” by 17th January 2010 will be eligible to appear for campus placements.

3. The students also have to submit their data in an excel sheet in format provided by the placement department, and 1 soft copy of resume in word 2007 format to the Placement officer by the 17th January 2010.

4. Students may have to modify the resume/ data sheet depending on the job requirement by the company coming for the campus placement.

5. Students must carry their identity cards with them during the PPT/written test/group discussion/interviews, and produce the same whenever demanded by the recruiting team, the training and placement officer or the student coordinators.

6. All the Students should be in formals and carry at least 3 hard copy of their resume.

7. Students are not allowed to interact with the company executives directly. Any queries must be clarified during the PPT itself. Subsequently, they can bring their doubts (if any) to the notice of the placement officer who will then take necessary action.
 
8. The students who are eligible for the campus placement will be shortlisted for the campus interviews by the organization depending upon their criteria.

9. The names of students shortlisted will be displayed on the Placement Notice board.

10. It will be student’s responsibility to check the notice board, email and the gitplacement bolg for information on placements, Organization visiting college, Names Shortlisted for the Interview and results.

11. If any student whose name has been shortlisted fails to appear for the next round, he/she will be taken off the campus placements process.
   
12. The students can appear for Campus placement as long as he/she does not receive an offer letter.

13. Once a student receives an offer letter he/she will be taken out of campus placement process. 

14. If a student is not joining an organization for unavoidable circumstances, then the accepted job offers must be surrendered to the Placement Officer.

15.  Any student found to have applied or secured a job through off campus application without the prior consent of the Placement Officer would be debarred from taking part in any further placement process. Further, the company in which he/she has secured a job would also be informed of the policy violation by the student.

16. A student violating any of the above mentioned rules and regulations or found indulging in any act of indiscipline/misbehavior thereby earning a bad name for the Institute will be debarred from availing any further placement facilities and is liable for strict disciplinary action, as per the Institute rules and regulations.

17. In all cases The Decision of the Training and Placement Officer will be final and binding.
